The live event was five short presentations and a dessert reception. It happened on Friday April 27, 2001, in the Bartos Theater in the Media Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The artists presented their ideas in a conversational tone with audience participation, projected imagery, and sound. After the presentations, there was a reception with some yummy desserts, wine and conversation.

During the performance, there was a live streaming video broadcast of the event.
